August 31, 2005
Indianapolis Colts quarterback and PeyBack Foundation President Peyton Manning hosted the third-annual PeyBack Bowl on Thursday, August 25 at Woodland Bowl in Indianapolis. The event raised more than $260,000 for the PeyBack Foundation.

The official sponsors of the PeyBack Foundation are American Family Insurance, Image Innovations Sports and Entertainment, Marsh Supermarkets, Mastercard, Reebok, St. Vincent Health, and Zurich. Sport Graphics was the official printer of the PeyBack Bowl and Sony Electronics provided several great prizes, including 40" flat screen tvs to each member of the winning team, as well as a top of the line home theater system that was purchased by Pacers 2005 first round draft pick, Danny Granger, in the silent auction.
Celebrities included: Archie Manning (former NFL player), Edgerrin James (Colts), Marvin Harrison (Colts), Dwight Freeney (Colts), Tony Dungy (Colts), Rick Carlisle (Pacers), Chuck Person (Pacers), Danny Granger (Pacers), Greg Oden (Number one High School Basketball Player in the Country), Merril Hoge (ESPN analyst), and many more.
Manning established the PeyBack Foundation in 1999 to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk. The PeyBack Foundation has donated more than $1,000,000 to youth organizations in Indiana, Tennessee and Louisiana since its inception. In July of 2005, the Foundation distributed more than $165,000 to 25 different community agencies in those states.
