Grant Guidelines
Requests for grants are accepted from all agencies and organizations actively advancing the welfare of disadvantaged children. All requests for financial assistance are given careful consideration by the PeyBack Foundation Resource Council and judged on the unique merits of the individual agency, its goal and mission.

Due to the close association of Peyton with the Indiana, Tennessee and New Orleans Metropolitan areas, programs and projects related to the youth in these areas receive greater consideration. Please read the PeyBack Foundation Statement of Policy and Objectives below before filling out a grant application.

Please do not request more than $20,000. Requests for multi-year grants will not be accepted, and grant recipients must re-apply each year.

Each organization must complete a PeyBack Foundation grant application to be considered. The deadline for 2007 is February 1. Please contact the PeyBack Foundation at PeyBack@peytonmanning.com or at the address below:

STATEMENT OF POLICY AND OBJECTIVES
The PeyBack Foundation, a public non-profit corporation, was established in 1999 by Peyton Manning to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth by assisting programs that provide leadership and growth opportunities for children at risk.

Policies and programs are directed by its Board of Directors who have discretionary powers and are dedicated to discharging their responsibility in a manner that will result in maximum beneficial use of resources of the Foundation to promote the future success of disadvantaged youth. The nature of the programs and their immediate long-term benefit shall be guiding consideration in making grants.

Due to the close association of Peyton Manning with the Indiana, Tennessee and New Orleans Metropolitan areas, programs and projects related to the youth in this area are of primary concern to the Foundation.

Unless specifically requested by a member of the Board of Directors or the Resource Council, the Foundation will not consider grant requests from organizations outside the Indiana, Tennessee and New Orleans geographical areas. It will not consider requests for building/renovating expenses, to defray meeting or conference expenses or payment of travel of individuals or groups. It will not relieve organizations of their responsibilities, nor make grants to individuals for any purpose.
